Arizona Winter

rainy-morning

People from across the country come here to central Arizona each winter to escape the harsh cold weather of their home state. Northern Arizona has ski country, but you’d never know it here in the Phoenix area, where temperatures have already hit 80F / 26C. Those of us that live here relish days like today, when we get what feels like a real winter day. It’s much cooler after raining all night and it’s still coming down now; to compliment the mood I chose an incense this morning made of fir balsam. The house is now filled with the smell of a southwestern fireplace.

This southwestern wood incense is a great addition to the sandalwood, frankincense, and other scents you may normally use. Incienso De Santa Fe offers a seven scent sampler that includes pinon, cedar, juniper, hickory, alder, mesquite, and fir balsam for only $7.75. That includes 49 (!) blocks of incense and the holder – quite a good deal.
